Return & Cancellation Policy

This Return & Cancellation Policy ("Policy") applies to all subscriptions and add-on services purchased through the Cyber Wed platform operated by [Company Name] ("Company," "we," "us").


1. General Policy — No Refunds on Memberships

All subscription fees are non-refundable. This is consistent with standard SaaS (Software as a Service) industry practice because:

  • Access to the Service (including cybersecurity tools, dashboards, and reports) is granted immediately upon payment
  • We incur infrastructure, licensing, and support costs from the moment your subscription activates
  • Subscription plans do not involve physical goods that can be returned

By purchasing a subscription, you acknowledge and agree to this no-refund policy.


2. Exceptions — Billing Errors

We will issue a full refund in the following limited circumstances:

  1. Your account email
  2. The charge date and amount
  3. A brief description of the error

We will review and respond within 5 business days.


3. How to Cancel Your Subscription

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account dashboard:

  1. Sign in at [yourdomain.com/dashboard]
  2. Navigate to Account Settings → Subscription
  3. Click Cancel Subscription
  4. Confirm cancellation

What Happens After Cancellation

  • Your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period — you retain full access during this time
  • You will not be charged for the next billing cycle
  • Your data will be retained for 90 days after cancellation, then permanently deleted
  • You may reactivate your subscription at any time within the 90-day retention window without losing your data

4. Annual Plan Cancellations

If you purchased an annual subscription and wish to cancel:

  • You may cancel auto-renewal at any time; your access continues until the annual period ends
  • We do not provide pro-rated refunds for the remaining months of an annual plan
  • Exception: If you cancel within 7 days of your annual renewal date and have not materially used the Service during those 7 days, contact us for a courtesy review

5. Add-On Service Cancellations

One-Time Add-Ons (e.g., Penetration Test Report, Compliance Audit)

  • One-time service add-ons are non-refundable once work has commenced
  • If you purchased an add-on and work has not yet started, you may request cancellation within 48 hours of purchase for a full refund
  • Contact legal@[yourdomain].com to request cancellation

Recurring Add-Ons (e.g., Incident Response Retainer)

  • Recurring add-ons follow the same cancellation terms as subscriptions (cancel anytime, effective at end of billing period)
  • No pro-rated refunds are issued for partial billing periods

6. Free Trial Cancellations

If you are on a free trial:

  • You may cancel at any time during the trial with no charge
  • If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your payment method will be charged the applicable subscription rate
  • We will send a reminder email 3 days before your trial ends

7. Account Termination by Company

In the event we terminate your account due to a violation of our Terms & Conditions (including unauthorized use of cybersecurity tools), no refund will be issued for any unused portion of your subscription. This includes terminations due to:

  • Violation of the Acceptable Use Policy
  • Fraudulent activity
  • Chargebacks filed against legitimate charges

8. Chargebacks

If you initiate a chargeback with your bank or card issuer for a charge that does not qualify for a refund under this Policy, we reserve the right to:

  • Suspend your account immediately pending resolution
  • Dispute the chargeback with supporting documentation
  • Assess a $25 dispute fee for chargebacks determined to be invalid

We encourage you to contact us before initiating a chargeback — most billing concerns can be resolved quickly.
